Mozilla Firefox is one of the most used web browser today because we get a lot of plugins and extensions to it with the help of plugin finder or search add-ons present in ‘tools’ menu. Some of the plugins are really cool and are very beneficial to our work. One of the plugin that I found very interesting is ‘spell check’ for firefox that provides spell check to each and every text box that are opened in your browser.

To enable this plugin in your firefox browser, open ‘mozilla firefox’ in your system, then type ‘about:config’ in the address bar present below the menu bar. After typing and pressing on enter, a warning message will appear stating that ‘This might void your warranty!’, with a button at the bottom ‘I’ll be careful, I promise’, just click on that to proceed further. In the next step, a field named ‘filter’ will appear asking you to type something. Type ‘layout.spellcheckDefault’ in that text field and in the below a dialog box with name ‘Enter integer value’ will appear, type ‘2’ there and click on ‘ok’.

Now go to ‘tools’ menu at the top of your mozilla firefox browser, select ‘options’ then a window opens click on ‘advanced’ tab there. In advanced tab, under ‘general’ tick mark on ‘Check my spelling as I type’ and click ok. Now, if you open any login or registration page you will come to observe that when you start typing spell check will be done to every field where you enter some text.
