Samsung Electronics Ltd., one of the leading manufacturers in mobile and electronic industry has unwrapped its new much waited smartphone – ‘Samsung Galaxy S III’ in London at ‘The Earls Court Exhibition Centre’. The new Galaxy S III from this South Korean company will sport an 8 Megapixel rear camera with Auto Focus, 1.9 Megapixel front camera, 4.8-inch touchscreen with HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, runs Google Android 4.0 - Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and comes in with a thin body and a package of very useful and amazing features which does not leave you without getting a hand on to it. The smartphone can record HD videos at a rate of 30 frames per second and is also capable of playing HD videos with 1080p resolution. The new mind boggling features of Galaxy S III are:
The ‘S Voice’ feature not only allows voice search but ads advanced interactivity with new device control functions through your voice like playing your favorite songs, messages sending, extending your alarm time, capturing a photo through its camera etc. All these functions can be performed by simply commanding your Galaxy S III with your mouth.
With Galaxy S III and support of Android Beam, another feature named ‘S Beam’ helps in sharing a video file or audio file between two Galaxy S III smart phones by simply touching both of them which further does not require any Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc to share files. The sharing process is also super fast as sharing of 1GB video file takes three minutes whereas sharing of a 10MB audio file takes 2 seconds. With ‘Buddy Share Function’ users can also share photos directly between each other.
Real time sharing is enabled in this new Galaxy with a function called ‘AllShare Play’ that opts you to share files of your Galaxy smartphone with your PC or television or also share your screen with your friends connected to same Wi-Fi network with ‘Group Cast’ feature that is available in AllShare Play function. ‘AllShare Cast’ is another function that provides wireless connection to the Galaxy S III user with their televisions for a bigger display.
The new Galaxy has improved focus in regard to Wi-Fi as a new feature ‘Wi-Fi channel Bonding’ is implemented for offering doubled Wi-Fi bandwith.
‘Pop up Play’ feature provides users with multi tasking as user can play video on any part of the screen and can concurrently work with other apps in your phone.

The Samsung’s new Galaxy will be on sale from the end of May in Europe and later this year in other parts of the world. It is presently available in two colors - Marble White and Pebble Blue. It will be available in some other colors in the coming months.
