Dell India Inc. have launched a new desktop in India ‘Dell XPS 8500’ aiming at the users who work more on graphic designs, editing videos and other multimedia works. The XPS from Dell is a powerful one as it is integrated with high performance features to achieve the requirement of multimedia users. The XPS 8500 is configured either with Intel Quad Core i5 or Intel Quad Core i7 processors where user has to choose between these two processors, 1GB AMD Radeon HD 7570ii or 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 640ii, 4GB DDR3 RAM with 4 DIMM slots to support up to 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD with 7200 RPM which can be further configured with up to 3TB.
A DVD drive along with optional Blu-Ray Combo drive is integrated in the system and runs Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. The connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi card, WLAN combo card if required by the user, 7.1 integrated surrond sound, Ethernet LAN of 10/ 100/ 1000 Gigabit, 4 USB 3.0 ports, 6 USB 2.0 PowerShare ports, RJ45 Ethernet, media card reader of 19 in 1 and headphone & microphone jacks. The Dell XPS 8500 will be available for sale at INR 53,000.
