Aakash Tablet which was recently sold online in a limited number at a price of ` 2,500, has earned great response, huge amount of popularity and demand for more such tablets among various people. This response, popularity and demand have paved the way for its successor, the new ‘Ubislate 7’ tablet. Ubislate 7 specifications include 7 – inch resistive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 screen resolution, 256 MB RAM, 2GB internal memory, USB ports, GPRS Radio Wi-Fi connectivity, microSD card slot for external memory, runs Android v2.3 OS and runs on 700 MHz Cortex A8 processor. The tablet is powered with a 3200 mAh battery which provides three hours of battery backup. The Ubislate 7 will be manufactured by DataWind and may be available for sale in the next month at a price of `3,000.
