Steps to run Problem Step Recorder (PSR) :
Step 1: To get started Problem Step Recorder click on the window button and enter psr.exe and press enter key better to follow the below screenshot
Step 2: Click on that application as shown below screenshot with the options to start the recording enabled
Step 3: Now click the Start Record button and it will start recording by clicking on your mouse or a key press of any.
Every time mouse is clicked or key press it will take the screenshot of the current window.
Step 4: At this moment you have to start the application which is troubling you by errors and then it will record an entire performance. So that your friend can observe how the software crashed or you might have done any mistake while installing the application.
Step 5: After finished the above process click the stop record button. You can also add remarks to your friend or technician for fixing your problem by clicking add comment button.
Step 6: When click on the stop record button it ask you to save or not. Then save the file which is in a zipped format
