Panasonic Corporation is a Japan based multinational consumer electronics corporation which is huge manufacturer of electronic goods and home appliances world wide but yet has not made a mark in the smartphone market globally. But with the growing demand for smartphones all over the world the Japanese based company has decided to get back in to this business globally starting from March, 2012. For the start of its smartphone business the company has chosen Europe to start with and then spread across major countries like China, United States and throughout Asia. Panasonic set a target of selling 9 million units outside of Japan by the fiscal year March, 2016. It has chosen an Android based smartphone to start its business in March, 2012 starting from Europe. Hope that, this electronic giant will meet its specific target.
