What are the ingredients required for preparing bread balls?
  • Bread loaf (350 grams)
  • Green chilies (6)
  • Potatoes ( 3)
  • Oil (3 tea spoons for curry)
  • Oil as sufficient to fry bread balls
  • Chopped coriander (2 table spoons)
  • Onion (1)
  • Mustard Seeds (1/2 tea spoon)
  • Cumin Seeds (1/2 tea spoon)
  • Dry mango powder (1/4 tea spoon)
  • Turmeric powder (1/4 tea spoon)
  • Ginger
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt

How to prepare Bread balls?
Things to do before cooking:
Step 1: Cut the bread loaf into slices.
Step 2: Wash potatoes and boil them. Later peel the boiled potatoes and grate them.
Step 3: Peel the onion and chop it finely. Wash and chop curry leaves.
Step 4: Clean green chili and ginger with water, and then make green chili ginger paste.
Preparing curry:
Step 1: Heat the pan and add 3 tea spoons oil, then add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and fry them.
Step 2: Add green chili ginger paste, curry leaves, chopped onions and fry them until the onions are translucent.
Step 3: Add turmeric powder, dry mango powder, little bit of salt, grated potatoes and mix well.
Step 4: Now add chopped coriander, mix it well and our potato curry is ready. Just leave it a side so that it cools.
Preparing Bread balls:
Step 1: Heat the pan and add sufficient oil to deep fry bread balls.
Step 2: Take some potato curry, shape it into a round ball and keep it a side. Repeat it until the potato curry is finished.
Step 3: Take a bread slice and cut brown ends. Dip the bread slice in water, then take it in your palm and press it with another palm, so that the water will be removed.
Step 4: Place a potato ball on the bread slice and cover it by bringing the slice edges together. Then shape it into a round ball. Repeat this with the remaining curry balls.
Step 5: Now carefully drop the balls in oil and gently fry them until they turn to golden color.
Step 6: Place the fried balls on a paper napkin so that all the excess oil will be soaked and then our bread balls are ready to serve.
