K P Udayabhanu passes away at 77, according to the sources he was suffering from unhealth from past few months.
He made his debut with “NayaruPidichaPulivalu”released in 1950, he sang a song which was popular at that time and the song was written by P Bhaskaran. From then he was teamed up with Raghavan, M S Baburaj and also some top composers like G Devarajan.
He was also an artist in All India Radio for a long time. Lot of popular songs were in his account of career, his voice was especially suited for sad songs. LailaMajnu and other melodramatic movie songs were sang by him.
Malayalam film Industry have lost an great singer.
