A new way to unlock your phone with your face using Google Facial Recognition.Recently Google has filed a patent regarding facial recognition patent that allows the users to unlock their smart phones using facial expressions instead of providing passwords. This is a new additional built-in feature that is available with the latest Google android handsets.
In 2011 Google have launched face recognition for the android ice cream sandwich, security experts have found some insecure features because the handset could be unlocked using the static images of the tablets or digital cameras.An update for the previous version a new version of face recognition is developed and patented on July 2012 by Google.
This version could use dynamic content that could include a forehead wrinkle, a frown, an open-mouth smile, a tongue protrusion, a forehead wrinkle, an eyebrow movement. The given data is checked with the previously provided images of the video stream. The software also recognizes the 3D pattern by checking for the image that the device being shown is a photograph or a real person.This version of the software could really decrease the criticism and the new technology could be adopted without flaws.
