Google Accessible Search is developed by Google Labs in the favor of providing Google services to blind and low vision people. Google Accessible search finds the most accessible pages without images and places them in the result set. Accessible search gives priority to those sites which can be navigated through keyboard and do not have any visual distractions on the page. But indeed Google Accessible search is now not being developed as a separate unit but Google has now focused on making sure that the main site Google.com work well and accessible by all the users.

So to make Google resources universally accessible Google has launched many products with accessibility features, so that their services can be accessible by deaf and blind users.

Google chrome browser includes tools like page zooming and screen readers for low vision users. Chrome browser functionality can be customized by installing extensions which improves the browsing experience. Some of the extensions are ChromeShades, ChromeVox and there are lot more other chrome extensions which are available in Chrome Web Store.

Low vision users can view and edit documents, sites and spread sheets in the cloud with the help of a screen reader. The user can now navigate, edit text and shapes as the on screen reader helps you by reading out where the mouse point is placed like whether it is on which menu or text, etc.

Android is now coming with an in-built screen recorder and a text to speech feature which are very helpful for deaf and blind users. Screen reader feature is much usable while using Google Maps service on an Android phone.
