The latest versions of Adobe Photoshop tend to work slowly because of loading plug-ins, fonts or presets. To boost up the performance of Photoshop use a freeware utility “Adobe Photoshop SpeedUp” utility which decreases the loading time of Photoshop by disabling unwanted plug-ins, loads the fonts which you need, doesn’t load presets and optimizes memory usage. If not you may even click on “Restore” Button and restore to original settings
