Here we are going to explain about how to disable and enable USB ports. First let us see the steps involved in disabling USB ports.

Step1: Go to START, click on RUN, type compmgmt.msc and click OK.
Step2: A Computer Management window will appear on your screen.
Step3: Select System Tools which is at left top of the window.
Step4: Double click on Device Manager which is at right part of the window.
Step5: Now double click on your system name and then double click on Universal Serial Bus controllers.
Step6: Now right click on the port which you want to disable and select disable. Then it will prompt you for confirmation whether to disable the port or not, if you agree hit Yes otherwise choose No.
For enabling: First 5 steps are common but in step 6 you should select enable.
