Here you’ll know about how to disable unwanted startup programs. In the beginning when you first install an OS (windows XP, Vista or 7) on to your system it seems to be working well. But after few months system start up speed decreases, this is due to many application startup unnecessarily when you turn on the system. Now to increase the startup speed you need to disable the unwanted startup programs so that the system startup speed increases.
Step1: Click Start and go to Run.
Step2: Type “msconfig” and click OK.
Step3: Now System Configuration Utility window will appear, click Startup Tab.
Step4: Uncheck the programs which you don’t want to run on startup and click OK.
