Kobian bring in a new low end tablet ‘Kobian iXA Tab’ to India at a price of INR 3,999. This new iXA tablet features a 7 – inch touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 0.3 megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi and is powered by Google’s Android 2.3 – Gingerbread mobile operating sytem. The tablet is embedded with a 1GHz processor, RAM of 512 MB, 4 GB internal memory which can be further extended to 32 GB with a microSD card support for external storage. So, with cheap tablets getting a good response in the market, competitions between manufacturers is also raising and hence has to wait and see how many more companies will be introducing their low cost tablets.
