World Will Not End in 2012!

As we entered the year 2012, there is much hype and speculations being created and spread all across the world about December 21st, 2012 that some disaster would take place and that the world may end by this particular date. But scientists of NASA trashed all these sayings about the Doomsday and according to them 21st December, 2012 will not be the end of the world. The main theories/ assumptions/ predictions of Doomsday or end of the world are:

• -Ending of Mayan calendar on December 21st this year
• -An imaginary planet ‘Nibiru’ from outside the solar system is approaching closer to the Earth and will collide with our planet on 21 Dec.
• -Polar shift is going to take place in December, 2012 and as a result there would be disasters and natural calamities to an extent which may destroy enter human life on Earth.
• -Sun and some other planets in solar system come in alignment with the planet Earth and there might occur devastating tidal effects.
• -All these assumptions were disproved by NASA scientists that there would not be any occurrences of such disasters and gave a clear explanation for all the above four assumptions regarding the Doomsday. According to scientists at National Aeronautics and Space Administration:
• -The end of Mayan calendar is just the end of a cycle and beginning of a new cycle just like our calendar that ends on December 31st and a new calendar starts from January 1st of every year.
• -If Nibiru is approaching towards the Earth then scientists at various research centres who observe the sky day by day may also have caught a glimpse of it, but none of the scientists got to see it till today. And if Nibiru is nearing then we might have felt the impact of its gravitational effects on other planets, but no such thing has happened till now.
• -There is no strong proof that polar shift occur in December and that it takes more than million years to take place. If at all it happens then there will not be any disasters happening that people are worrying about.
• -The Sun and the moon can only cause tidal effects but the alignment of other planets, Sun with Earth would have a minimal effect and that there are no such planetary effects on the Earth in 21st December, 2012.
