The CB tri series 2012 will be starting from February 5, 2012 and will be played between India, Australia and Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka will be very eager to win the series as it lose two consecutive ICC Cricket World Cup finals to both Australia and India in 2007 and 2011 respectively and interestingly these two teams are the opponents for the Commonwealth Bank series 2012.
