Samsung Electronics unveiled its new tablet Galaxy Tab 7.7 GT – P6800 dubbed as ‘Galaxy Tab 680’ in India. This new tablet from Samsung will be available in retail stores across India at a price of INR 34, 900 approximately and in online stores at INR 33, 571. The weight of the Galaxy Tab is around 335 gms and its dimensions are 196.7 x 133 x 7.8 mm. Its specifications include a Exynos 4210 dual core processor of 1.4 GHz from Samsung with integrated graphics, Android 3.2 mobile operating system which may be upgraded to Android 4.0, 3.0 MP rear camera with LED flash, capability of recording 720 pixel HD videos, 2.0 MP front camera and 7.7 – inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The Galaxy Tab 680 is incorporated with a RAM of 1GB, internal memory of 16GB with a microSD card slot provided for external memory that supports an extension up to 32GB. Its connectivity features include Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB 2.0 port and has support for all the popular media formats. The 5,100 mAh battery that the tablet comes with provides up to 49 hrs on 2G, 27 hrs on 3G and 10 hrs on continuous video playing.
