Richard Levi, created a sensation against New Zealand by getting world’s fastest T20 hundred in just 45 balls beating the previous record of 50 balls by Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum. He also got another record to his name by hitting 13 sixes, the highest number of sixes by an individual in a T20 innings overcoming the previous best of 10 sixes by Chris Gayle. All this happened in a match of South Africa vs New Zealand where South Africa were set to chase a target of 174 runs in 20 overs and South Africa was in driver’s seat right from the start with Levi huge hits in to the stands. Richard Levi finally scored 117 runs of 51 balls and led his team to an 8 wicket win over the Kiwis. What a man and what an innings he have played to get a record of world fastest T20 century and highest number of sixes in a T20 innings by an individual. With this innings he might also get a good deal at the IPL auction for IPL 5.
