Samsung launches Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus in India at a price of INR 26, 990. The new tablet from Samsung measures 7.62 x 4.81 x 0.39 inches, weighs 345 gms, incorporates a 7 – inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 600p, front camera with 2 megapixel resolution and a 3MP rear camera with AF, LED flash and is capable of recording HD videos. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus runs on Honeycomb - Android v3.2 operating system which may be further upgraded to latest Android version 4.0 – Ice Cream Sandwich , is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core mobile processor and1GB RAM. Connectivity features of the latest tablet from Samsung include Wi-Fi, 3G, A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0 portand flash support for browsing videos. The other features of the tablet include in-built apps from Google, Music Hub and Readers Hub from Samsung for searching, listening, reading and downloading music, e-books, magazines etc. The 4000mAh battery of the phone helps the users in getting 40 hours of battery backup. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus comes in two onboard memory variants 16GB and 32GB in which user have to change depending upon the cost. The tablet also has a microSD card support up to 32 GB for external storage.
