WinRAR is a data compressing and archiving software, the first version is released in 1993 and it is being developed by Eugene Roshal. It allows you to create multi volume and self extractable archives.
WinRAR supports RAR and ZIP archives. It is capable of unpacking &-Zip, ACE, LZH, ARJ, JAR, GZip, TAR, UUE, ISO, Z and BZ2 archives. The archives that were damaged can be reconstructed with the help of recovery volumes and recovery record.
