Nokia Corporation, one of the largest manufacturers of mobile phones in the world has unveiled its new mobile wallet service, ‘Nokia Money’ in India. The main goal of Nokia wallet service is to provide convenient and secure money transactions simply through SMS without the need of neither a bank account nor an internet connection. The users will be allowed to do transactions related to pay mobile top-ups, utility bills, pay for train tickets and pay insurance premiums through SMS with the help of Nokia Money.
The registration process for Nokia Money service is that the customer has to go the nearest possible authorized Nokia retail store, then set up this service on the phone and pay some amount to the retailer and thus the digital amount will be transferred to your mobile phone. This service from Nokia operates all over India and works with almost all the Nokia mobile phones through SMS, Wi-Fi or GPRS/ 3G connectivity.
