What are the ingredients required for preparing Blueberry toast?
  • Blueberries (145 g)
  • Sugar (200 g)
  • Cream cheese (450 g)
  • Cornstarch (15 g)
  • Butter (15 g)
  • Milk (470 ml)
  • Vanilla Extract (5 ml)
  • Water (230 ml)
  • Maple syrup (80 ml)
  • Eggs (12)
  • Bread slices (12)

How to make Blueberry toast?

Step 1: Cut bread slices and cream cheese into inch cubes. Keep them a side.
Step 2: Arrange some bread cubes on a greased baking dish and place cream cheese cubes over them.
Step 3: Now spread some blueberries over the cream cheese and cover with remaining bread cubes.
Step 4: Mix eggs, syrup, milk and vanilla extract in a bowl. Pour over bread cubes, cover and for about 7 to 8 hours refrigerate.
Step 5: Take it out from refrigerator and leave them for 25 to 40 minutes. Then cover and bake for 30 minutes in a preheat oven at 175 degrees Celsius, later uncover and bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
Step 6: Mix cornstarch, sugar, water and let it boil, stir and cook for 4 minutes. Add remaining blue berries and let it simmer in low flame for about 10 minutes.
Step 7: Now add butter, stir well and pour over the toast. Our Blueberry French toast is completed and ready to serve.
