HP strikes back by launching slate 2 targeting the business market. The Slate 2 has an 8.9” display and weighs 680g. Compared to the previous version the new Slate 2 is upgraded with Intel Atom Z670 processor which offers faster boot times and runs with Windows 7 operating system. The tablet has a 3MP camera, HDMI port, two USB 2.0 ports, 32 GB internal memory, SD card slot, Bluetooth keyboard dock and a battery life up to 6 hours. It also has swype keyboard that allows user to enter words by sliding a stylus or finger from letter to letter and lift only between words.
