As India is playing their third test against West Indies at Mumbai there are a lot of hopes on winning the series 3-0 as India are already 2-0 up and one more thing that will be ringing in the hearts of the people is about the 100th ton of the batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin’s 100th ton has been a long wait as he reached his 99th ton against South Africa in March, 2011 at Nagpur during the World Cup. Since then, Sachin has played many ODIs and Test matches but the 100th ton had put Sachin reaching this milestone on hold. Now, as India are playing the third test against West Indies at Mumbai and the Wankhede stadium being the master’s home ground, the 100th ton fever has already started in the people waiting for the master to achieve this great feat in front of the home crowd itself. Even the Mumbai Cricket
Association (MCA) have got excited about it and has announced to felicitate Sachin Tendulkar with 100 gold coins worth 28 lakh, if he achieve this great feat at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. Earlier before the second test against West Indies, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CBA) have also promised to felicitate Sachin with 100 gold coins if he gets his 100th ton at the Eden Gardens during the second test match, but the little master got out falling 26 runs short of his century. The batting legend has also promised to donate the bat to the Eden Gardens proposed cricket museum at with which he gets the 100th ton as a mark to of his achievement. Hope that Sachin gets to his 100th ton at Mumbai.
