The French car manufacturer Renault has revealed its new small car Renault Pulse in the presence of F1 drivers Mark Webber and Karun Chandhok at the Buddh International Circuit in Delhi.
The pulse will be officially launched in January at the 2012 Auto Expo in New Delhi. Bookings will open after the price announcement in January. The price is not yet announced, but it is expected to be about 6 to 8 lakhs.
The pulse has been designed for India at Renault’s design center in Mumbai and the car will be manufactured in the Renault-Nissan alliance plant in Chennai. The Pulse is powered by the K9K diesel engine, this 1.5-litre diesel engine is capable of offering up to 23 kmpl of mileage.
The features of Renault Pulse include auto folding mirrors, chrome internal door handles, rear seats with increased thigh support and adjustable head rests, rear cup holder, keyless entry and go, electrically adjustable mirrors, all four power windows, 15-inch alloy wheels, bridgestone tyres, powerful dual-beam H4 headlights, beige fabric interiors, and much more.
